From the Manufacturer This highly detailed Aoshima 1/700 scale plastic model kit accurately recreates the japanese navy destroyer, Hatsuharu. Completed in 1933, this 1400 ton destroyer was built for the imperial japanese navy under the circle one program. Part of Aoshima's waterline series, this kit includes a highly detailed waterline hull and deck, color decals, an impressive photoetched sheet, as well as an assortment of anti-aircraft weapons, lifeboats and more. The following planes are included in this water line series kit, type 2 float plane fighter A6M2-N, type 0 small reconnaissance seaplane E14Y1, fighter seaplane kyofu N1K1 and special attack seaplane seiran M6A1. An illustrated instruction sheet is included to aid in completion of this kit. Waterline series kits contain a flat hull, designed to give the model the appearance that it is in the water. Waterline series kits are used extensively in Naval battle dioramas.
