- For existing building, hard to draw cable between AMR130AN (close to water meter) and CC2030 (close to your router), please choose CC2030 KIT+AMR130-RN KIT+WSC500A to connect them wirelessly. Indoor use only, DAE B1725 watertight enclosure available for outdoor use.
- CC2030 KIT Gateway+AMR130-RN KIT+WSC500A can read a water meter with pulse output (like DAE AS200U-75P, MJ-75, PD-100, V-75P, VM-75P and WP-300P) remotely with cell phone, PC and generate billing report. If there is abnormal usage (ex. Broken piping), an email alert will be sent to your cell phone. No IT guy is required. Just connect wires as per 6th picture (see video) & ready to go. It includes 1 software key and 1 annual fee. One CC2030 Gateway can monitor 20 meters ( water, electricity, and gas). 1 software key ($30, one-time fee) and 1 annual fee ($4) per meter is required for additional meter connected to the CC2030.
- If feasible to draw a cable between AMR130AN (close to water meter) and CC2030 (close to your router), it will be more cost-effective to choose DAE CC2030 KIT + AMR130AN KIT. (4th picture) For monitoring up to 16 water meters remotely with cell phone, PC and generate billing report, you will just need 1 AMR KIT + 1 CC2030 KIT (5th picture). - For remote reading with CC2030KIT+AMR130-RN KIT+ WSC500A, 1 Non-Return-Valve (like NRVMJ-75 for MJ-75, to be installed at outlet of meter) is required for each Water Meter (1 gallon/pulse), or reading on cell phone, PC will be more than actual reading on meter due to back flow. With UL2464-100 (shielded, twisted pair cable), it can extend the connection of the water meter to AMR130-RN up to 328 feet (100 meters).
- When water flows back, meter keeps generating pulse like water is flowing forward. Reading on cell phone, PC is based on input of pulse. Therefore, without Non-Return-Valve, reading on cell phone, PC will be more than actual reading on meter due to back flow. For example, when 10 gallons of water flow through MJ-75 meter and 2 gallons flow back, reading on meter is 8 gallons. But reading on cell phone, PC will be 12 gallons.
