Since water is a more efficient coolant than chemical based gel packs, and all other phase change materials, the FlexiFreeze Ice Vest can be lighter (3.5Lbs), thinner and more flexible than other vests while still providing more cooling power. The vest is constructed from neoprene to provide soft, flexible, lightweight insulation which shields the ice sheets from the ambient high temperatures and focuses its cooling power on the user.
