- Using DH3534-U.2, you can convert 3 * 5.25" optical drive to 5 * 3.5"/2.5" hard drive bay. No fan standard, users can install the 8025 fan by themselves.
- The internal interface of the DH3534-U.2 module supports inserting SATA and SAS hard drives or U.2 NVMe SSD.
- If you want to use SAS hard drives, you also need a SAS card to connect the module.SAS cards can recognize SAS and SATA hard drives. If you only use SATA hard drives, you can use SFF8643 to convert 4 SATA reverse data cables.
- If you plan to use the U2 NVMe SSD, you will need to use an SFF8654 data cable to connect to the SFF8654 interface on the module. If your motherboard does not have an SFF8654 interface, you will need a PCI X16 splitter card, and the motherboard must support splitting PCI X16 into X4 X4 X4 X4.
- On the basis of meeting all hardware conditions, all data interfaces of the module were connected. So each bay of the module adapts to any hard drive you insert.
- Each hard drive is installed in a drawer style for easy disassembly. One side of the 3.5-inch hard drive needs to be secured with screws, while the other side does not. The installation of a 2.5-inch hard drive requires screws to secure it to the caddy from the bottom of the hard drive.
- The hard drive does not require cables, and both the data and power cables are connected to the backplane of the module. To ensure safe hot swapping of hard drives.
- Each hard drive bay has independent indicator lights. They are the power indicator light and the work indicator light of the hard drive, respectively. They are LEDs soldered onto the backplane, which are led out by the light guide tube on the hard drive caddy.
