- Fits on: Almost all Ford engines with straight mounting bracket setup from the years 1965-1993 and many of the later model engines also. Works great for muscle cars or street rods.
- The mounting holes on this unit is in the exact same location as Older 1G and 2G models with straight mounting bracket setup
- There can also be a slight clearance problem requiring modification of the alternator bracket, it may be necessary to trim a triangular section of the bracket in order to make room for this larger alternator. The modification is minor, easy to accomplish, and does not adversely affect the strength of the bracket.
- Important Note:For safety and better Voltage and Output result,We recommend installing a fused 0 main charging wire to allow maximum current flow to your battery.
