Replacement piston for the Fleck 9000 & 9100 softener valves (lower only). These wear out over time and can cause your control head to work inefficiently leak bind or not work at all. Genuine Fleck part# 60401 works on both the mechanical valve and the digital SXT valve. It is recommended that you replace the seals & spacers when you replace the piston. For an additional charge you can send in your control head to us and we can replace the piston for you
