How to choose the right mushroom blade for you.

Concave bevels - Best for mushrooms with semi hard caps and caps that are often infected with insects such as Boletus and Lactarius.

Convex & wavy bevels - Best for mushrooms with squishy character such as Cantharellus and Agaricus.

Thick spine & high grind - Best for mushroom with hard stems and caps or mushrooms like Chicken of the Woods.

These are optimal for mushroom foraging because they're made of 440b stainless steel, 1,2 mm thin which makes it for cutting mushrooms clean instead of splitting them.
